Oppo Reno 3, Reno 3 Pro with 5G support launched: Price, specifications and availability

Oppo Reno 3 starts at Yuan 3,399 for the base variant, whereas, Oppo Reno 3 Pro starts at Yuan 3,999 for the base variant.

Reno 3 is the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G processor.

Oppo has launched its Reno 3 lineup of smartphones consisting of the Oppo Reno 3 and the Oppo Reno 3 Pro in China. Both the devices support dual-mode 5G and come with a quad-camera setup on the back. These are the first smartphone's of the Reno lineup to not sport any sort of a motorised pop-up selfie camera module. The company has also launched its Enco Free true wireless earbuds alongside the devices.

Reno 3 is the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G processor. Whereas, the Reno 3 Pro sticks to Qualcomm processors with the Snapdragon 765G processor.

Oppo Reno 3 is priced at Yuan 3,399 (approximately Rs. 34,000) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant and Yuan 3,699 (approximately Rs. 36,999) for the higher 12GB RAM/128GB storage variant. The device will go on sale starting December 31. It will be made available in Misty White, Moon Night Black, Sunrise Impression and Blue Starry Night colour options.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro is priced at Yuan 3,999 (approximately Rs 40,000) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant and Yuan 4,499 (approximately Rs 45,000) for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM variant will be made available alongside the Reno 3, whereas, the higher 12GB RAM variant will be made available starting December 10. The device is being made available in Misty White, Moon Night Black, Sunrise Impression and Blue Starry Night colour options.

The Pantone Edition of the Reno 3 Pro, which will come with a Classic Blue shade will be made available starting January 10.

The company has also launched a Pantone Edition of the Reno 3 Pro, which will come with a Classic Blue shade, priced at Yuan 4,199 (approximately Rs 42,000), which will be made available starting January 10.

The Enco Free true wireless earbuds are priced at approximately Rs 7,000 and will be made available starting January 31 in Black, Pink and White colour options.

The company has not revealed when it will be launching any of these products in the global markets, including India. So we will have to wait a bit more to get the information.

Oppo Reno 3: Specifications

It sports a quad camera setup on the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor.

Reno 3 sports a 6.4-inch waterdrop notch-style display which comes with a TUV Rheinland certification. It is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G processor built on the 7nm manufacturing process.

The device will come with up to 12GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. It will run Google's Android 10 operating system with the company's own ColorOS 7 skin on top. All of this will be backed by a 4,025mAh battery with support for the company's own VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology.

It sports a quad camera setup on the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor paired with an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 13-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, it features a 32-megapixel sensor for taking selfies.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro: Specifications

The device runs Google's Android 10 operating system with the company's own ColorOS 7 skin on top.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro 6.5-inch full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

The device runs Google's Android 10 operating system with the company's own ColorOS 7 skin on top. All of this is backed by a 4,025mAh battery with support for the company's own VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 technology.

It comes with a quad camera setup on the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, 13-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, it sports a 32-megapixel sensor placed inside of a hole-punch for taking selfies.
