Panasonic Eluga A4 launched in India: Price, Specifications and more

Panasonic, the Japanese tech giant, has added another smartphone to its portfolio in India. The Panasonic Eluga A4 is a mid-range offering from the company which focuses mainly on battery performance. The unique selling proposition of the Eluga A4 is its massive 5,000mAh battery capacity and its 720p display.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana Business Head - Mobility Division of Panasonic India said, "The increasing demands for 4G smartphones with a good battery at an affordable price has become a necessity today. Our new Eluga A4 which has slide screen, 5000mAh battery and FPS powers you to do a lot throughout the day. It will keep your data safe and secure with a highly advanced encryption chip, offering our consumers an exciting package of innovative technology at an attractive price."

Specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Panasonic Eluga A4 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.25GHz. The phone features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The smartphone packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. Under the hood, there is a massive 5,000mAh battery powering up the device. The Eluga A4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

For connectivity, the Panasonic Eluga A4 comes with 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB OTG.

As for the optics, the Eluga A4 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

Price and Availability

The Panasonic Eluga A4 is priced at Rs. 12,490 and will be available in the offline markets via Panasonic’s authorised dealers starting from November 5. The smartphone will be available in Champagne Gold, Mocha Gold, and Marine Blue colour variants.
