Realme 1 sold out in seconds, Next sale on June 2: Here are the alternatives you can buy right now

RealMe is the sub-brand of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo

Oppo recently launched the RealMe 1 smartphone in India. The smartphone went out of stock just after 2 minutes of going on sale. RealMe took this opportunity to announce that this sale helped them to achieve the bestseller tag on Amazon India.

Madhav Sheth, CEO, RealMe, said,  “We want to thank Indian consumers for their immense trust in us”. ”Though we didn’t plan a flash sale, the response from the Indian consumers have been way beyond our expectations. We have increased our production capabilities to ensure we the customer demands,” he further added.

Xiaomi Redmi 5

Xiaomi Redmi 5 is the perfect alternative to the RealMe 1. The specifications of the Redmi 5 are either similar to or better than that of the RealMe 1. However, there is no 128GB variant of the smartphone available. The Redmi 5 features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and starts at a price of Rs. 7,999.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is a better offering from Xiaomi when compared to the Redmi 5. The Redmi Note 5 is powered by a much powerful Snapdragon 625 SoC. The smartphone features a larger 5.99-inch IPS LCD display. The device packs in 3GB or 4GB of RAM coupled with 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is available at a starting price of Rs. 9,999.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1

Asus recently launched the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 to create a tough competition in the budget category. The smartphone features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The dual-SIM handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. The RealMe 1 competitor Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 starts at a price of Rs. 10,999.
