Reliance Jio Monsoon Hungama Offer: Get JioPhone for just Rs. 501

Reliance Jio introduces Monsoon Hungama Offer. Here's how to get the JioPhone for just Rs. 501 in exchange of your old feature phone.

Jio Monsoon Hungama Offer begins on July 21

Reliance Jio has rolled out a new Monsoon Hungama offer where they are offering the JioPhone for an effective price of Rs. 501. The offer kicks off starting tomorrow, July 21. As a part of this offer, customers can exchange their old feature phones in order to get the JioPhone for just Rs. 501.

Interestingly, the Rs. 501 that customers have to pay now to get the JioPhone is fully refundable after three years. This makes the feature phone effectively free of cost.

A Jio spokesperson said, “There are currently 2 JioPhone plans available: Rs 49 and Rs 153. The Rs 49 plan is a kind of trial plan with 1 GB monthly data, whereas our highest selling plan Rs 153 provides 1.5 GB data/day. We realized that there are some users who may want lesser data and therefore must get the plan at a lower price. Hence we are introducing Rs 99 with unlimited free voice, 0.5GB data/day and 300 SMS for 28 days. This will reduce the monthly spends straight away by nearly 50 per cent.”

How to avail the Reliance Jio Monsoon Hungama Offer

Customers who are interested in grabbing the JioPhone for just Rs. 501, have to visit their nearest Jio retail store. Users have to trade-in their old feature phone. The feature phone can be any phone but it should be in a working condition. Alongside the feature phone, the customers will also need to provide the compatible charger.

Once the customer gives the phone, he will need to fill up a form and get a new Jio SIM card. However, if you already have one or want to continue your old number, you can opt-in for the MNP option. Once the process is complete, customers will get their new JioPhone with the new Jio SIM card installed.

Also, make sure that you carry your Aadhar card with you when you go to the retail store for the exchange.
