Reliance Communications, to maintain the competition, has come up with a new offer for its 4G Wireless dongle. The company has announced a new bundle offer where Reliance will give a free 4G sim card with the Reliance 4G Wi-Pod.
With the purchase of the bundle offer, users will get a 4G Wi-Pod device and a SIM card with 1GB 4G data per day for 365 days. The bundle offer is currently listed on the company's own e-commerce website and will cost Rs. 5,199.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Reliance Wi-Pod is manufactured by a Chinese company, ZTE and is powered by a Qualcomm MDM9307 SoC. The device is backed by a 2300mAh battery and up to 31 devices can get connected to at a time. The company claims that the device can deliver up to seven hours of usage a full-charge. It supports LTE connectivity under Band 3, Band 5, and Band 40. The device is made out of plastic, comes in a black colour and weighs at around 80grams. The Wi-Pod comes with a micro USB port for charging, a SIM card slot and a microSD card slot which can accept up to 32GB microSD card.
Reliance Jio offers unlimited calls and data according to the plan applied to the purchase of a new Jio-Fi device which costs Rs. 1,999. With the offer, Jio is only able to offer up to 224GB of data, where as the Wi-Pod by Reliance Communications is offering up to 365GB of data.
