As the year 2017 has almost come to an end and 2018 is about to start, the South Korean giant Samsung has started working on its 2018 edition devices. The company's popular A-series will soon get a refresh as Samsung Galaxy A3 (2018), A5 (2018) and A7 (2018). Currently, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) has been spotted in the FCC listing which clearly states that the company will launch the smartphone soon. Interestingly, the smartphone was also spotted on Samsung's official website which was first tipped by renowned tipster Roland Quandt.
Thanks to the FCC listing, we now know that Samsung is all geared up to soon unveil the 2018 edition of the popular A-series smartphones. Apart from the launch, the website also gives a glance on few of the specifications of the upcoming A5 (2018). The listing shows that the A5 (2018) will sport some type of edge-to-edge display, which is also expected for the A3 and the A7.
The FCC listing shows the model number A530N for the upcoming Galaxy A5 (2018). The website also reveals that the device will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as there would be no space up front due to the edge-to-edge display. The A-series 2018 devices will also have improved camera and performance when compared to their predecessors.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by the Samsung's homegrown Exynos 7885 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device will run on Android 8.0 Oreo layered with Samsung's skin layered on top of it out of the box.
