Samsung Galaxy A50s receives price cut, now starts at Rs 18,599

Samsung has introduced a price cut for its Galaxy A50s and Galaxy M21 smartphones, which now start at Rs. 18,599 and Rs. 13,199, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy A50s has received a lot of price cuts before. However, recently we saw the company increase its price due to the hike in GST rates for mobiles phones in March.

Samsung during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has announced a price cut for its Galaxy A50s smartphone. It is now available at a starting price of Rs. 18,599 after getting a price cut of Rs. 2,471 for its base variant. And the 6GB RAM variant is available at Rs. 20,561.

Samsung Galaxy A50s smartphone in India back in September 2020 at a price tag of Rs. 22,999 for the base 4GB RAM variant and at Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB RAM variant.

The Galaxy A50s has received a lot of price cuts before. However, recently we saw the company increase its price due to the hike in GST rates for mobiles phones in March.

Apart from the Galaxy A50s, the company has also reduced the prices of its Galaxy M21 smartphone. Samsung Galaxy M21 is currently available at Rs. 13,199 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant and at Rs. 15,499 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant.

You can currently order these smartphones at the new prices from e-commerce websites like Amazon and Flipkart if you reside in Orange or Green zones. However, if you reside in Red zones like Delhi, then you will have to wait longer for the lockdown to lift on May 17.

Samsung Galaxy A50s: Specifications

Samsung Galaxy A50s sports a 6.4-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display. It is powered by the company's own Exynos 9611 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card.

It runs Google's Android 10 operating system with the company's own One UI 2.0 skin on top. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging technology.

Samsung Galaxy A50s comes with a triple camera setup on the back. It consists of a 48-megapixel wide angle sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it features a 32-megapixel sensor to take selfies.
