Samsung has now officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite in China. These are Samsung's new offerings under the mid-range smartphone category. The Galaxy A9 Star is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 31,600) while the A9 Star Lite retails for CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 21,100).
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star features a 6.28-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. The device packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and it is backed by a 3,700mAh battery.
