Samsung has now officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite in China. These are Samsung's new offerings under the mid-range smartphone category. The Galaxy A9 Star is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 31,600) while the A9 Star Lite retails for CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 21,100).

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Specifications

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star features a 6.28-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. The device packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and it is backed by a 3,700mAh battery.

On the optics front, the Galaxy A9 Star sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 16-megapixel primary and a 24-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front, there is a 24-megapixel selfie shooter.

The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 3,500mAh battery.

The Galaxy A9 Star sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 16-megapixel and a 5-megapixel sensor. Up front, there is a 24-megapixel selfie snapper.

The Nokia 7 Plus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The smartphone is currently available at a price of Rs. 25,999.

Vivo V9

If the front cameras on the Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite, the Vivo V9 is the perfect alternative. The Vivo V9 features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels. The smartphone sports a 16MP+5MP dual-camera setup at the back. Up front, there is a 24-megapixel selfie snapper.
