Samsung Galaxy J8 comes with an Infinity Display up front

Samsung is expanding its smartphone portfolio in India by introducing devices like the Samsung Galaxy J8. The Galaxy J8 adds up to the company's budget J-series and is amongst one of the cheapest smartphones from the company to come with an infinity display. It comes with a dual-camera setup at the back and a gorgeous screen up front. The smartphone is available in India at a price tag of Rs. 18,990.

Specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J8 features a 6-inch FullHD+ display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The dual-SIM handset comes with 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. All of this is backed by a 3,500mAh battery.

On the optics front, the Samsung Galaxy J8 sports a 16MP+5MP dual-camera setup at the back. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/1.9 aperture.

The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 32GB variant while the 64GB variant is available for Rs. 16,999.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1

The ZenFone Max Pro M1 packs in a lot of power at a starting price of just Rs. 10,999. The dual-SIM handset comes with the powerful Snapdragon 636 processor. The dual-SIM phone sports a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160x1080 and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The company will soon introduce a 6GB RAM variant of the phone.
