Samsung recently launched one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, the Samsung Galaxy Note. The phone caught everyone's attention with that gorgeous display, the dual camera setup at the back and not to forget the key feature of not series the S-Pen. The Galaxy Note 8 is now making its way to India eventually with the pre-booking. The official India website of Samsung now gives an option to pre-register for the smartphone. However, there is no official word on as of when the device will be available for sale in retail stores and e-commerce websites.
It is expected that Samsung will somehow manage to get the Galaxy Note 8 in India before the auspicious festive season of Diwali. Most likely the Note 8 will make its entrance in India sometime in the last week of September or the first week of October. Meanwhile, interested users can pre-register for the smartphone to get their hands-on the device as soon as possible.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440x2960 pixels. The phablet is powered by an octa-core Exynos 8895 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. For storage options, it is being said that Samsung will bring only the 64GB and 128GB variant in India initially and the 256GB variant may make its way later. All of this is backed by a 3,300mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may be priced at around Rs. 70,000 in India for the base variant considering S8+ comes with a price tag of Rs. 65,900 and the Note 8 is priced at $930 in the US.
