Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has started receiving Android 9 Pie based One UI update via an Official Beta program.
Samsung recently started rolling out the stable version of Android 9 Pie based One UI update for Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ and Galaxy Note 9 in few regions. As the latest flagships are being served with the taste of Pie, the company has already started testing out the latest Android version on Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users can head over to the Samsung Members app, which can be downloading via the Google Play Store. Once you open up the application, you will find a banner stating that the Beta program is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Notably, the update is currently available only in India and South Korea.
You need to enroll into the beta program using the Samsung Members app and your Samsung account. Once you have successfully enrolled for the program, head over to Settings > System Update in order to download and install the latest beta firmware.

One UI is Samsung's latest user interface developed on top of Android 9.0 Pie. Apart from what Google has introduced, the update brings in features like Night Mode, a new user interface and much more.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440x2960 pixels. It is powered by the Exynos 8895 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It comes in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options with support for further expandability using a microSD card. All of this is backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
On the optics front, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of two 12-megapixel sensors. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with f/1.7 aperture.
