Samsung seems to be soon launching a new limited edition variant of the Galaxy Note 8 with Star Wars: The Last Jedi branding. The device will come right in time for the holiday season, and before the movie is released in December.
Recently, the Chinese leaker going by the name "Ice Breaker" on Twitter posted an image showcasing the Galaxy Note 8 with a wallpaper featuring BB-8 the droid from Star Wars. Rest the device seems like the normal Note 8 and doesn't seem to have any branding of such kind. you can see the tweet below:
In the leaked image we see Chinese writing, pointing to the fact that the product might only be launched in a select number of countries and not globally.

Currently, there isn't any official announcement regarding this made by the company, but this is something Samsung has done if you remember the Injustice versions of their smartphones. The company has also worked with Disney, as it released a Pirates of the Caribbean variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 in China and in 2015 they launched an Iron Man version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
We really hope that the Galaxy Note 8 Star Wars: The Last Jedi version is not just a plain Note 8 with a bunch of Star Wars posters and ringtones. It should be similar to the Iron Man Galaxy S6 Edge. One good idea is to turn the S-Pen into a lightsaber.
