Samsung Galaxy Note 8 tipped to get an 8GB RAM variant

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has got a lot of hype all around the world as the launch date is coming closer. Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Note 8 on 23 August 2017. Now there is a new report coming from Weibo by @ice suggesting that there would be another variant of the Note 8 named Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition which will include an 8GB of RAM along with 256GB of onboard storage. It is also said that the smartphone may have some reference to Star Wars.

Leaks also suggest that the Galaxy Note 8 will be available for pre-order in Australia starting from August 25. However, it is said that the Emperor Edition will be made available only in South Korea and China. Reports also suggest that 256GB variant would also exist with the international 6GB RAM option. As per the reports, the Galaxy Note 8 will come in three colour variants namely  Black, Gray and Blue.

Previous reports have claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone will sport a nearly bezel-less design, something which is similar to what we have seen in the company's current flagships Galaxy S8 and S8+. The design being nearly the same, the Note 8 phablet might come with a more squarish design and a larger 6.3-inch display as compared to the 6.2-inch display we saw on the S8+. The Galaxy Note 8 is also rumoured to be the first smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset. The phablet will sport a dual camera setup at the back with two 12-megapixel sensors and independent OIS (optical image stabilisation) for each lens. It is also expected that under the hood the smartphone will have a 3,300mAh battery.
