Samsung Galaxy S8+ is now available for as low as Rs. 39,990. Here are some alternatives at that price point.
Samsung recently launched their latest flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The launch of the flagship meant a price drop for last year's flagship Galaxy Note 8. Now the company has even dropped the price of the last year's S-line flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S8+. The Galaxy S8+ can now be grabbed at Rs. 39,990 from offline retailers.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ features a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1440×2960 pixels and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 8895 octa-core SoC. The dual-SIM handset packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and comes with a 3,500mAh battery.
On the optics front, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ bears a 12-megapixel dual-pixel sensor at the back with f/1.7 aperture. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

It features a 6.28-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display and it is powered by the 2018 flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The device comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. OnePlus 6 is available in India at a starting price of Rs. 34,999.
Asus ZenFone 5Z is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 6.2-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch. The dual-SIM handset comes with up to 256GB of internal storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. The ZenFone 5Z is available at a starting price of Rs. 29,999 while the top of the line variant is available for Rs. 34,999.

LG recently launched their 2018 flagship, the LG G7 ThinQ in India. At Rs. 39,990, the G7 ThinQ comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 6.1-inch QHD+ display and comes with 128GB of expandable storage.
