Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will be priced between $860 to $1,295. If the report is true, the price will be lower than the $1,500 Motorola Razr.
Samsung is expected to launch its second foldable smartphone, which is tipped to be named the Galaxy Z Flip on February 11 at its Galaxy Unpacked event being held in San Francisco. A new report from a South Korean news portal inews24 claims that the device will be priced between $860 (approximately Rs. 61,176) to $1,295 (approximately Rs. 92,119).
If the report is true, the price will be much lower compared to the $1,500 (approximately Rs 1,06,724) of the new Motorola Razr, which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.
To recall, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip recently showed up on China's 3C certification database, with the model number SM-F700. According to the certification, the device will come with a 15W charger.
The device is expected to sport a 6.7-inch tall aspect ratio display, which can be folded vertically, in a similar fashion to the new Motorola Razr. The device will reportedly come with a dual-camera setup on the outside of the fold, whereas, on the inside, it will feature a 10-megapixel sensor.

Apart from this, the device is said to come with the ability to record 8K videos natively. A 5G variant of the device will be made available in South Korea. According to an earlier leak by the tipster, Ice Universe, the device instead of plastic may use an "ultra-thin glass display" on the device.
The company has already applied for trademarks in Europe for its Ultra Thin Glass or UTG, which according to sources, it will be using inside of its future foldable devices.
