Sony India, on September 21 has officially launched the Xperia XA1 Plus in India widening its XA1 line-up of mid-range smartphones. The highlights of the smartphone include the 23MP rear camera, 3,430mAh battery, fingerprint scanner and the borderless display. The XA1 Plus will be available in the offline markets starting September 22.
The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and a pixel density of 401ppi. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek 6757 Helio P20 processor which is an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.3GHz. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. Maintaining the Sony's typical design language, the XA1 Plus comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button, making it a convenient place for the user to unlock the smartphone. Under the hood, powering up the device is a 3,430mAh battery which charges faster with the help of Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology. The XA1 Plus runs on Android Nougat out of the box and will be soon updated to the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.

On the optics front, the Xperia XA1 Plus houses a 23-megapixel camera sensor at the back with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and a LED flash. Up front, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The Sony Xperia XA1 retails at a price of Rs. 24,990 and will go on sale starting September 22. The smartphone will be available in Black, Blue and Gold colour options. The Xperia XA1 Plus will be available in all Sony Center and major electronic stores across India.
