Oppo has just slashed the price of its Oppo A3s budget smartphone. Here are the alternatives that still offer a better value.

Oppo A3s has just received a price cut in India. The smartphone is now available for a starting price of Rs. 8,990. The 3GB RAM variant of the same is now priced at Rs. 11,990. While the price cut has made the phone a tad cheaper, it still does not offers the best value for money. So, here are some alternatives to look for.

If you are a fan of Oppo's ColorOS, the Realme 2 will be a much better option here. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. It packs in up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Realme 2 sports a 6.2-inch notched IPS LCD display. All of this is backed by a 4,230mAh battery and comes in at a starting price of Rs. 9,499.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 runs on MIUI

In case you are looking for something more powerful and you are ready to spare some more cash, the Redmi Y2 will bring in a lot more to the table. The smartphone comes with a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. It packs in up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Redmi Y2 is available for Rs. 9,999.

Lenovo K9 features a USB Type C port

Lenovo K9 is the only smartphone under Rs. 10,000 that offers a USB Type-C port. Priced at Rs. 8,999, it comes with a MediaTek P22 processor and 3GB of RAM. It features a 5.7-inch HD+ display. The dual-SIM handset comes with 32GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable using a microSD card. Lenovo K9 is available at a price of Rs. 8,999.
