Vivo X20 Plus UD with In-Display Fingerprint Scanner Launched: Price, Specifications and Availability

Smartphone giants have been working hard on achieving a great under display fingerprint sensor. The Chinese smartphone giant, Vivo has already achieved the much-anticipated project. The company showcased its first smartphone with an under display finger. Vivo is now making the smartphone official under the name Vivo X20 Plus UD. The fingerprint sensor is made by Synaptics and hides under the AMOLED display of the smartphone.

Specifications

The Vivo X20 Plus UD features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display. The display comes with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. At the heart of the X20 Plus UD sits a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The device packs in 4GB of RAM and a massive 128GB of onboard storage. Storage on the device is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 3,900mAh battery powering up the internals.

On the optics front, the Vivo X20 Plus UD sports a dual camera setup at the back. The dual camera setup consists of a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of  f/1.8 and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Vivo's most phones being selfie centric, this phone also comes with a 12-megapixel sensor up front with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also comes with features like face like.

Price and Availability

The Vivo X20 Plus UD comes at a price tag of CNY 3,598 (roughly Rs. 36,100). The smartphone is launched in China and will be available starting February 1. There is only one colour variant - Black (with gold accents). However, as of now there are no details on when the smartphone will be made available to other markets.
