Vivo X21 launched in India: Price, Specifications, Availability and Alternatives

Vivo X21 will sell exclusively on Flipkart in India

Vivo X21 the smartphone with under display fingerprint sensor has been launched in India at an event the company held in New Delhi. The Vivo X21 is priced at Rs. 35,990 and will sell exclusively on Flipkart in India. It was first showcased to the world two months back in China. Interestingly, the X21 is also one of the first smartphones that are eligible for the Android P Beta, which was released by Google back in its developer's conference, Google I/O 2018. The device is now available for pre-bookings at Flipkart.

Vivo X21: Specifications

The Vivo X21 sports a 6.28-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The smartphone features 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. It sports a dual SIM hybrid setup, so you can either use two SIM cards or one SIM card along with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Google’s Android 8.1 Oreo with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 4.0 skin on top and is backed by a 3,200mAh non-removable battery.

As for the camera, the Vivo X21 sports a dual camera setup on the back featuring a 12-megapixel Samsung S5K2L8 sensor paired with a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. On the front, it features a 12-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies.

Vivo X21: Price in India

Vivo has decided to price the X21 at Rs. 35,990 in India. The first sale will happen on May 29 at Flipkart. The device will go on sale in the Black colour variant. Whereas, a gold option will surface later.

As for the launch offers, the company will include an extra Rs. 3,000 off on exchange, along with that the company is also offering 5 percent extra cash back to SBI credit card owners. The device is also available on no-cost EMI on all credit cards up to 12 months.

OnePlus 6

OnePlus 6 is one of the best budget smartphones available in India

The OnePlus 6 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The smartphone also features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio resulting in a notch. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back and also has Face Unlock feature. The OnePlus 6 starts at a price of Rs. 34,999 at which it can give a tough competition to the Vivo X21.
