The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Vivo has finally launched the much anticipated Vivo X21. The Vivo X21 is the second smartphone from the company that comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. As soon as you look at the smartphone, the first thing you will notice is that there is an iPhone X-like notch up front.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo X21 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The smartphone features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display up front has minimal bezels, thanks to the existence of a notch. The device packs in 6GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage. Storage on the smartphone is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 3,200mAh battery powering up the internals.

On the optics front, the Vivo X21 sports a dual camera setup at the back which includes a 12-megapixel and a 5-megapixel sensor. Up front, there is a 12-megapixel selfie shooter.
Vivo X21 is launched in two variants, a premium version and a regular version. The premium version comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The premium version of the X21 is priced at CNY 3,198 (approximately Rs. 33,000). The standard version, on the other hand, comes with a normal fingerprint scanner, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The standard version of the smartphone is priced at CNY 2,898 (roughly Rs. 29,900).
Vivo X21 standard version is available in Ruby Red, Aurora White and Black colour variants. It will be available for pre-orders in China starting March 24. The premium version comes only in the Black and Ruby Red colour options. It will be available for pre-orders starting March 28 in China. There is no word as for when these smartphones will make their way to the other markets.
