Vivo, the Chinese smartphone giant, is now planning to launch the Xplay4. The company usually likes to try new experiments with its smartphones. Recently, the company unveiled the Vivo X20 Plus UD. The X20 Plus is the first smartphone to come with an under display fingerprint sensor. Now, with the Vivo Xplay7, the company wants to be the first to launch a smartphone with 10GB of RAM.
Apart from the massive 10GB RAM, the smartphone is also expected to feature a 4K OLED display panel.Further, the smartphone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. For storage, the Xplay4 will come with up to 512GB of onboard storage. Just like the Vivo X20 Plus UD, this one will also feature an under display fingerprint sensor.
These set of specifications have been leaked over Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website. The Vivo Xplay7 will be a successor to the Xplay6 launched back in 2016. If the leaks are to be believed, this could make the smartphone competition really tougher.
Moving on further with the leaks, the Xplay7 is said to come with a dual camera setup at the back with 4X optical zoom. The 4K OLED panel mentioned earlier is said to come with a 92.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is also expected to be available in two storage variants. There will be a 256GB variant and a 512GB variant.
As of now, the reports can be taken with a pinch of salt until we wait for any information from the company. Vivo is expected to launch the Xplay7 in coming weeks. As far as the pricing is concerned, the base variant of the Vivo Xplay7 is said to be priced at somewhere around 500 USD (roughly Rs. 32,000).
