Vivo Y69 launched in India: Everything you need to know

Vivo, the Chinese tech giant, has added another smartphone to its portfolio calling it the Vivo Y69. As the company likes to focus on the people's selfie needs, the Y69 is launched keeping the same in mind. The highlights of the smartphone are the 16-megapixel selfie shooter and the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Specifications

Vivo Y69 is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 processor which is an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The phone packs in a 3GB of RAM and a 32GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The Y69 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. As far as the connectivity is concerned, the Vivo Y69 supports 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and A-GPS.The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with the company’s own Funtouch OS 3.2 skin on top out-of-the-box. Under the hood, there is 3,000mAh battery powering everything up.

On the optics front, the Vivo Y69 sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and a LED flash. Up front, the phone sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and a moonlight glow LED flash.

Price and Availability

Vivo Y69 is currently priced at Rs. 14,990 and will be available in two colour variants - Champagne Gold and Matte Black. The phone will be available starting September 1. The Y69 is an online exclusive device and can be purchased via Flipkart and Amazon India.
