Vodafone launches new prepaid plans, Here's everything you need to know

Telecom operators have been introducing a lot of new plans in order to keep up with the competition. Vodafone, one of the most popular telecom operator, has introduced new prepaid plans for its customers. The company is trying to cope up with the competition created by Reliance Jio. Also, the company is targeting to attract new customers as well as keep their existing customers happy.

What are the offers?

Vodafone has introduced the Rs. 158 pack under its SuperPlans. The Rs. 158 pack brings in 1GB 4G/3G data per day for 28 days. Along with the data, the pack also offers unlimited voice calls (250 minutes/ day and 1,000 minutes/ week). The other pack introduced is the Rs. 151 pack. At Rs. 7 less you will get only 1GB 4G/3G data and unlimited calls with a validity of 28 days. Currently, both the packs are only available in Kerala circle. These packs should make their way to the other circles soon.

Those who do not stay in Kerala can enjoy the benefits of a slightly expensive Rs. 198 plan. At Rs. 198, Vodafone offers 1.4GB of 4G/3G data per day with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day.

However, if you do stay in Kerala and are planning to opt in for one of this packs, we would recommend the Rs. 158 pack. As Rs. 158 pack being expensive by just Rs. 7 offers a total of 28GB data instead of the 1GB data found on Rs. 151 pack.

Vodafone's Rs. 151 pack, on the other hand, competes against the Rs. 93 pack by Airtel. Airtel's Rs. 93 pack offers 1GB data, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
