Xiaomi has finally launched the much-awaited Xiaomi Mi 6X. The smartphone has currently launched in China and will make its way to other markets soon. Looking at Xiaomi's history, the Mi 6X will debut in India as the Xiaomi Mi A2.
Xiaomi Mi A1, a popular mid-range smartphone from 2017 was just the Mi 5X with stock Android. So, we are expecting the Mi 5X successor Mi 6X will also be launched as the Xiaomi Mi A2 in India with stock Android. Here's what you can expect from the Xiaomi Mi A2 when it launches in India.
It is confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi A2 and the Mi 6X will share pretty much the same hardware. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with the Adreno 512 GPU. Under the hood, the Mi 6X carries a 3,010mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mi 6X is launched in three variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage and the other two variants will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Xiaomi Mi A2 might not come in all three variants. However, the 6GB+64GB variant is most likely to make it to the Mi A2.
