Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Mi 6X in China. The smartphone will be launched as the Mi A2 in India. Just like last year, Mi 6X and Mi A2 will have the same specification but the software will be different. The Xiaomi Mi A2 will come with Android One while the Mi 6X will come with MIUI.
Xiaomi has rolled out media invites for an upcoming launch event. The launch event is set to happen on April 25 at the Wuhan University. Xiaomi has also confirmed the launch event via a Weibo post.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi 6X is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. The smartphone will feature a 5.99-inch full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. If the display and processor sound familiar to you, its because these are the same as used in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
As per the leaks, Xiaomi Mi 6X will pack in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. If the leaks are to be believed, Mi fans might be disappointed as there is no upgrade in terms of storage and RAM. The smartphone is said to carry a 2910mAh battery under the hood.
