Xiaomi in 2017 launched its first ever Android One smartphone in India, the Mi A1. A report has surfaced suggesting that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has discontinued the phone in India. According to a report by 91Mobiles, the company has discontinued the A1 to pave a way for its replacement. They claim that Xiaomi has halted the supplies of the device citing Xiaomi partners in New Delhi. Also citing the same partners, it has also been said that the last billing of the device was done months ago. Also when you when you see the Xiaomi website, the smartphone seems to be perpetually out of stock, thus strengthening the report.
Xiaomi has already sent out media invites for an event happening in China on April 25. It is expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi 6X there, which when comes to India will become the second Android One device from the company.
