Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S and Mi 7 to feature OLED panels manufactured by Samsung

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the much awaited Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. The smartphone will just be an improved version of the already available Mi Mix 2. The company made an announcement at the MWC 2018 that the Mi Mix 2S will be unveiled on March 27. A recent report suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will feature a 6.01-inch OLED display from Samsung.

Xiaomi has signed a consignment with the South Korean giant Samsung. The company had placed an order for 6.01-inch OLED displays last year. The consignment carries nearly 1.1 million units in the first month and 2.2 million units in the second month. The information was leaked on the Chinese micro-blogging website, Weibo. The report further claims that the same displays will be used for the upcoming flagship, Xiaomi Mi 7.

Mi Mix 2S Expected Specifications

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is just a few days away from its launch and the specifications are already leaked via a recently leaked screenshot. The Mi Mix 2S will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The processor is currently available on the Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ and the Asus ZenFone 5Z. The smartphone is said to come with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. As per the leaks, the Mi Mix 2S will sport a 16-megapixel camera at the back. Under the hood, the device will carry a 4,400mAh battery.
