Xiaomi Poco F1 to go on flash sale again on September 5, Kernel Source Code released

Over 1 lakh units of the Xiaomi Poco F1 sold during the first flash sale. The next flash sale is set for September 5.

Xiaomi Poco F1 is available at a starting price of Rs. 20,999

Xiaomi sub-brand Poco recently unveiled the Poco F1 in India and it soon grabbed a lot of attention as it comes with flagship grade specifications at a price of a budget smartphone. The smartphone went on a flash sale for the first time on August 29 via Flipkart and Mi.com. Interestingly, the sale ended in around 5mins and in under 5mins Xiaomi managed to sell over 1 lakh units of the same.

In case you were not one of those 1,00,000 lucky people to get your hands on the new Poco phone, you need not worry as the next flash sale is not far enough. Xiaomi has already announced that the next sale will take place on September 5 via Flipkart and Mi.com at 12 PM. We would highly recommend purchasing the device from Flipkart as in the first sale we noticed that Mi.com was out of stock before Flipkart.

The code will help developers in porting custom ROMs easily for the smartphone. The company kept up to its promise and Xiaomi has finally released the kernel source code. So, if you are a developer and have the Poco smartphone with you, you can head over to GitHub and get the code to start developing.
