Xiaomi has recently launched the much-awaited Mi Mix 2 in India. The never-ending innovations have brought Xiaomi to soon launch new smartphones. Reportedly, Xiaomi has been working on a new smartphone named Redmi 5A. The Redmi 5A is likely to come with a full metal and an 8-day standby battery life.
The official poster of the upcoming Redmi 5A has been leaked and was spotted on GizmoChina, a China-based technology based. The poster reveals a few of the key features of the upcoming smartphone. The image on the poster gives a clue on what the device will look like. As compared to its predecessor Redmi 4A, the Redmi 5A will come with a metal body instead of a plastic body. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi 5A alongside the Redmi Note 5, Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in China.

As far as the specifications are concerned, reports suggest that the Xiaomi Redmi 5A will feature a 5-inch HD display. The phone is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. The phone might also be available in various variants including a 2GB RAM variant and a 3GB RAM variant. As for storage, there might be two variants including 16GB and 32GB. The Redmi 5A will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone will run on Android Nougat with MIUI 9 out of the box.
