Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 gets a price cut in India again: Here's what you need to know

Xiaomi, celebrating the Republic Day in India announces another price cut for Redmi Note 4. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was previously priced at Rs. 11,999 for the 64GB variant. The particular variant now gets a permanent price cut of Rs. 1,000. The price cut is effected only on the 64GB variant and not the 32GB variant. After the price cut, the Redmi Note 4 64GB is now available at Rs. 10,999. Redmi Note 4 can be purchased at this price via  Mi.com, Amazon India, and Flipkart. However, the price cut is not applicable for offline stores.

Specifications

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display. The resolution of the display is 1080x1920 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. This processor is coupled with the Adreno 506 GPU. The device packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Storage on the device is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The Redmi Note 4 currently runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Under the hood, there is a massive 4,100mAh battery powering up the internals.

On the optics front, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back. The rear camera has an aperture of f/2.0 and comes with a dual tone LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper with a f/2.0 aperture.

In terms of the connectivity, the Redmi Note 4 supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS and GLONASS. The smartphone uses a microUSB port for charging and data syncing. There is a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device right below the camera setup.
