Xiaomi recently unveiled the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. The smartphones got over 2 million notifications by interested buyers as per a tweet by Manu Kumar Jain. These smartphones went on sale for the first time today and went out of stock in just a few seconds. Those who are looking to buy any of these will have to wait for February 28, 12 noon.
Interested buyers can head over to Flipkart and click on the Notify Me icon next to the smartphone. The users will then receive a notification as soon as the device goes on sale. The smartphone will be available via both, Flipkart and company's own Mi.com website.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 while the Redmi Note 5 Pro runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. Both the smartphones feature a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Redmi Note 5 is available in 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants. Redmi Note 5 Pro, on the other hand, comes with 64GB of storage with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Both the smartphones are backed by a 4,000mAh battery and run on MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat.

As for optics, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 sports a 12-megapixel camera at the back and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a dual camera setup at the back. The dual camera setup includes a 12-megapixel and a 5-megapixel sensor.
