Xiaomi has finally rolled out the MIUI 9.5.6 software update for the much popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The MIUI 9.5.6 is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be soon hitting the devices in India soon. The company has pushed out the OTA (Over-The-Air) update and users should soon receive a notification for the same.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. The smartphone features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device packs in either 4GB or 6GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of onboard storage. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 4,000mAh battery powering up everything.
As for the optics, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 12-megapixel and a 5-megapixel sensor. Up front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is currently priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB RAM variant retails for Rs. 16,999.
