Xiaomi has finally unveiled the much-awaited Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand today. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is a direct successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The new generation does not bring many changes under the hood but brings in a more modern design with the notched display. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is available in Thailand for a starting price of THB 6,990 (roughly Rs. 16,000).
If you cannot wait for the smartphone to arrive in India, here are the alternatives that you can consider.
As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD display. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. The dual-SIM handset packs in 4GB of RAM and 6GB of internal storage. Under the hood, there is a 4,000mAh battery powering up the device.
On the optics front, the Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 12-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front, there is another dual-camera setup which is a combination of a 20-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is the latest mid-range smartphone from the company. It is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Just like the Redmi Note 6 Pro, this one also has a notched display up front. The Nokia 6.1 Plus is available in India with a price tag of Rs. 15,999.

RealMe recently launched the RealMe 2 Pro in India. At a starting price of just Rs. 13,999, the RealMe 2 Pro brings in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which is way better than the SD636 found on the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The RealMe 2 Pro also comes with a water drop style notch and up to 8GB of RAM.
Apart from the new design, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is mostly the same as the Redmi Note 5 Pro. So, if you cannot wait for the newer smartphone, the older one will still give you a similar experience. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs. 14,999.
