Xiaomi is all set to launch their next smartphone in India on the Valentines Day. The company has already rolled out the media invites for the upcoming February 14 event. Speculations are the smartphone giant is about to launch the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The Redmi Note 5 is the much-awaited successor to the popular Redmi Note 4. Xiaomi India has rolled out to video on YouTube showing key features of the upcoming smartphone.
The video teaser of the upcoming smartphone begins with the #GiveMe5. As per the video, the smartphone will feature an 18:9 display which gives a wide view. The teaser video further claims that the smartphone will have higher pixel density which could mean that the device will feature a Full HD+ display. The video also suggests that the smartphone will have a larger display allowing to view more content.
However, these key features do not give any clear evidence on what the upcoming smartphone would be. The smartphone could be the Redmi 5 or the much awaited Redmi Note 5. Going as per the previous leaks and reports, the upcoming smartphone is expected to be the Redmi Note 5.

In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to sport a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. The device will pack in 3GB or 4GB of RAM coupled with 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage. The smartphone will run on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Under the hood, there will be a 4,100mAh battery powering up the internals.
