Yu Mobiles India, on Thursday, has added another smartphone to their portfolio of devices. Yu is a subsidiary of Micromax India which manufactures smartphones. The company has launched the successor to the Yu Yureka calling it the Yu Yureka 2. The highlights of the smartphone include the Snapdragon 625 chipset, support to quick charge 3.0 and a massive 3,930mAh battery. The Yureka 2 will be exclusively available via Flipkart during the Big Billion Sale on September 20.
The Yu Yureka 2 features a metal body and a 2.5D curved glass up front. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. All of this is backed by a 3,930mAh battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The Yureka 2 runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box. There is also a fingerprint scanner present at the back of the smartphone.

On the optics front, the Yu Yureka 2 sports a 16-megapixel camera at the back with a dual-tone LED flash. Up front, the phone comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
Yu Yureka 2 is launched with a price tag of Rs. 11,999 and will be available starting September 20 exclusively via the e-commerce website Flipkart.
In June 2017, the company also launched the Yureka Black which was a success for the company. The Yureka Black retails for Rs. 8,999.
