Xiaomi is now gearing up to bring its next flagship smartphone, the Mi 7. The launch of the Xiaomi Mi 7 has been delayed due to various reasons. The company, in return, has been working on launching the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S during the MWC 2018. However, the Mi 7 will also make its way to the markets soon. According to rumours, the mi 7 launch has been set for somewhere in April.
Xiaomi Mi 7 specifications
As the launch date of the smartphone is getting closer, we receive a leaked screenshot which shows the key features of the handset. The screenshot was spotted on Weibo and was first reported by Playfuldroid. According to the screenshots, the Mi 7 will feature a 5.65-inch display with a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The device will pack in 8GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of onboard storage.

For the optics, the Mi 7 is said to come with a dual camera setup at the back including two 16-megapixel sensors. The screenshot also suggests that the smartphone will run on MIUI 9 out of the box. Under the hood, the smartphone will carry a 4,480mAh battery. Notably, the battery is a huge upgrade from Mi 6's 3,350mAh one.
As per the renders by GizChina, the Xiaomi Mi 7 could sport an under-display fingerprint scanner. Also, earlier reports have suggested the smartphone will come with a metal and glass design. The device is also expected to feature the much awaited wireless charging.
