Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) spotted online: Here are all the specifications

Samsung, the South Korean giant, is now gearing up to launch its 2018 version of the popular A-series and J-series devices. The popular mid-range J-series will now be getting a successor to their 2017 models. As Samsung has already started working on the upcoming smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) was spotted online on a benchmarking website, GFX Bench.

The benchmarking website shows the smartphone under model number SM-J337 which is being called as the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018). The model number is pretty similar to SM-J330F found on J3 (2017) making it clear that this is the J3 (2018).

As far as the specifications are concerned, the listing shows that the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The smartphone features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The device supports up to 5 fingers on its multi-touch touchscreen. The device packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage out of which only 9GB is available to the users as 7GB is being used by the system, as per the listing. As for the optics, the listing reveals that the J3 (2018) sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The rear camera here seems to be a downgrade as J3 (2017) has a 13-megapixel rear camera.

However, this can be taken with a pinch of salt until Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy J3 (2018).
