Xiaomi recently launched a new flagship smartphone under a new sub-brand named Poco F1. The device comes with flagship grade specifications and a starting price of Rs 20,999, which is surprising to say at most. The device is also the cheapest smartphone any consumer can get with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
The company promised that the Poco F1 will soon be receiving Google's Android 9.0 Pie update and that it will also have a guaranteed update to Android 10 Q operating system. The company did start rolling out Android 9 Pie closed beta update in October, which means it was only offered to a few selected users to test out.

A new report has surfaced from XDA Developers stating that Xiaomi has started rolling out Android Pie open beta update for the Poco F1. The update features the build number MIUI 10 Global Beta 8.11.15 and comes with the latest Android security patch, performance improvements and bug fixes.
Poco F1 owners can test out the new beta ROM by downloading it and installing it on their devices by using the company's own recovery update tool or by using the Mi Flash Tool. Before you go ahead and start installing the beta ROM on your device just know that it might contain many bugs and issues that are yet to be resolved by the company. It is not recommended that you go ahead and install the ROM onto your main smartphone and wait a bit for the stable version to come out.
