If you have a start-up idea in Generative Artificial Intelligence, Amazon is ready to support you. Amazon has just launched a 10-week AWS Generative AI Accelerator program. Under the program, the tech giant will support start-ups from across the globe.

The participants will receive $200,000 in AWS promotional credits, and may receive up to $100,000 in AWS Activate credits. Upon completion of the 10-week program, the participants will also get the opportunity to pitch their idea to the Generative AI community - including investors, press, and customers. The candidates will also get access to a dedicated business, and technical mentors based on industry vertical and technology stack.

How to Apply for Amazon AWS Generative AI Accelerator?

The application process is open. Interested candidates can start applying at aws-startup-lofts.com. The application process began on April 4 and will conclude on April 17. The applications will be shortlisted based on factors including target market, founder-market fit, depth of machine learning native product integrations, and team composition, reveals AWS Startup Loft.

The selected cohort will be announced on May 24 during an event in SF Bay Area. The program will run from May 24 to July 27.

How will Cohort be Selected?

If shortlisted, applicants will get an interview with the accelerator team. The startup's CEO, CTO, and/or co-founders will get a 30-minute meeting with the selection team. In the meeting, the applicant will have to make a 10-minute pitch presentation. The remaining 20 minutes will be a question-and-answer round. Additionally, at any time during the application period, the AWS accelerator team can reach out to the startups and ask clarifying questions or get more details about the business.

You will get access to bleeding edge AI models, go-to-market strategy tailored to Generative AI, machine learning stack optimization, and networking with industry influencers," stated AWS Startup Loft on its official website.

What will Happen During AWS Generative AI Accelerator Program?

The Amazon AWS Generative AI Accelerator is designed for seed and pre-seed Generative AI startups with a solution already built and underway.

This is a hybrid program. The first and last weeks of the program will be in-person events, while weeks 2 through 9 will be virtual.

In the first week, participants will hear from AWS leaders and Generative AI foundational model companies. The event will take place in the San Francisco Bay Area in the United States of America. Candidates will also have to set goals for the accelerator with their AWS mentors, and network with their cohort during the first week itself.

In this final week, participants will have the opportunity to network with potential investors and customers. During the weeks in between, participants will convene virtually for a variety of curated learning topics. The program will also consist of weekly mentor check-ins and one-on-one expert guidance discussions.
