Apple's upcoming iOS 17 could bring a revamp to its Control Center feature. Details are still muddy, will release on June 5, during WWDC 2023.
Apple will showcase its upcoming iOS 17 operating system on June 5 at its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC). According to a MacRumors forum member, iOS 17 will focus on performance and stability improvements. However, it could significantly change the main user interface (UI).
The same leakster last year managed to leak accurate details about the Dynamic Island before the company announced it for the iPhone 14 Pro lineup. Now, he claims the company is looking to revamp the Control Center. If the report is true, then this will be the first time Apple has revamped the feature ever since its debut with iOS 7 around 10 years ago. The feature did get its latest look with iOS 11.
Unfortunately, the leakster did not provide any details about the revamp. However, we do expect that Apple will make the Control Center more customisable and revamp the menu's design.
While the leakster has had a record of accurately predicting Apple's new features, it is still yet to be seen if the company will go through it or not. As it is a software feature, the company could look to push the feature to the next release or altogether drop it.
