Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus coming to India on Friday

Apple launched the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus along with the iPhone X on Tuesday. Brightstar India has today announced that customers interested in buying the iPhone 8 or the iPhone 8 Plus will be able to pre-book them. The pre-bookings will open starting Friday, September 22 at their various authorized stores in North and East India. Both the phones will be available in the stores starting September 29, 2017.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were launched by Apple on September 12 at an event held in the Steve jobs Theater at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. Both the new iPhones feature a new glass back and come in three colour variants, namely, Space Grey, Silver and Gold. Apple touted that the glass used in these new iPhones is the most durable glass ever used in any smartphone. The iPhone 8 features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with a resolution of 750x1334 pixels while its big brother, the iPhone 8 Plus sports a 5.5inch Retina HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. Both the smartphones now support wireless charging and are powered by Apple's new A11 Bionic chip which is designed to deliver great AR (Augmented Reality) experience.

Also, iPhone X which is pronounced as the "iPhone Ten" will also be available for pre-order at Brightstar Telecommunication India Limited starting October 27 and will be available in stores starting November 3.

The iPhone X features a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge Super Retina Display which is an OLED panel. The phone is powered by the new A11 Bionic chip and also supports wireless charging thanks to the glass back. The iPhone X's security comes from the all new FaceID, enabled by the new TrueDepth camera up front.
