While most people are eagerly waiting for the next iPhone to arrive, Apple has just released minor software updates for all the platforms. Apple iPhone, Apple TV, Apple Watch and the MacBooks get iOS 12.4.1, tvOS 12.4.1, watchOS 5.3.1 and macOS Mojave 10.14.6 respectively. These updates are already available for all the users around the globe. Here's everything you need to know.
Since these are just minor updates, they bring in important security and stability updates. According to the reports, it is suggested that the update fixes a vulnerability that enables jailbreaking. While the bug was patched in iOS 12.3, it accidentally got unpatched with the iOS 12.4 update.
As for the macOS, the macOS Mojave 10.14.6 update fixes the performance issue that rises when users are working on large files. It has also fixed an issue, which was causing some MacBooks to shut down automatically during sleep. Apart from that, it brings some improvements that fixed the issue that prevented Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iMovie and GarageBand from updating.
