Asus has launched the ZenFone Max Plus (M1) with 18:9 display: Specifications

Asus, the Taiwanese tech giant, unveiled another smartphone under their Max line-up. The Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) is an addition to their portfolio in Russia now and will make its way to other markets soon. The highlights of the smartphone include the 18:9 display and the 4,130mAh battery. Battery life has always been the highlight of the Max line-up of smartphones from the company.

As far as the specifications go, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6750T chipset. The device is launched in two variants, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage while the other one comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The storage on the phone is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. Under the hood, there is a 4,130mAh battery powering up the internals. The ZenFone Max Plus will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI layered on top of it out of the box.

On the optics front, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1)  features a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 16megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The front-facing camera on the device also supports face detection for better selfies.

As for the connectivity, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and micro USB.

The Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) is launched in Black Wave, Azure Silvery and Sunny Golden colour variants. However, there are no price and availability details revealed yet.
