BSNL introduces new Rs 1,188 prepaid pack, provides 5GB data for 345 days

BSNL's new 1,188 Mathuram prepaid voucher offers users long-term validity and other benefits. But, there's a catch.

BSNL Rs. 1,188 Mathuram plan offers users 5GB of data along with unlimited voice calls and a total of 1,200 complementary SMSes.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new Rs. 1,188 recharge pack dubbed, 1,188 Mathuram prepaid voucher offering them long-term validity and other benefits. The new plan is listed on the company's Tamil Nadu website and as of now is available as a 90 days promotion, which starts from July 25.

Under is Rs. 1,188 Mathuram plan the company offers its customers 5GB of data along with unlimited voice calls and a total of 1,200 complementary SMSes. The plan has a validity of 345 days and is currently live in Tamil Nadu.

Take note, the 5GB data provided with this pack is not unlimited at slow speed. After you have used up the 5GB of data, you will be charged 25 paise per MB consumed.

According to the BSNL's Tamil Nadu website, the new plan has been launched as a promotion for 90, starting July 25. As of now, we don't know if the company will expand the circles this plan will be made available in or not.

To recall, BSNL recently announced two new prepaid plans costing Rs. 1,399 and Rs. 1,001 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles.

Under the Rs 1,399 plan, the company offers its users 1.5GB of daily data along with and unlimited voice calling and 50 SMSes per day with a validity of 270 days.

Whereas, with the Rs. 1,001 plan the company offers 9GB of data along with unlimited voice calls and 270 SMSes for 270 days.

Both of these new plans will be available in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles until October 22. These offer unlimited free calls across the country with the exceptions of Mumbai and New Delhi circles.
