Coolpad Cool Play 6 Launched: Everything you need to know

Coolpad has finally launched the much anticipated Coolpad Cool Play 6 smartphone at an event in Dubai. The phone is a mid-range device offering from the company priced at Rs. 14,999. The highlights of the smartphone are the massive 6GB RAM and the dual-camera setup at the back. The company is looking forward to expanding its market in India by adding more smartphones to its portfolio. The company today also unveiled the Coolpad Cool S1 which will be their flagship offering for the year. The Coolpad Cool S1 will be soon coming to India.

Specifications

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. The phone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 64Gb of onboard storage. On the optics front, the devices feature a 13-megapixel dual-camera setup at the back with 4K video recording capability. Up front, the phone comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Under the hood, there is a 4,000mAh battery powering all this up. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the company's Cool UI skin layered at the top out of the box.

For the connectivity, the smartphone comes with a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing and has basic things like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, VoLTE and much more.

Price and Availablity

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 is currently priced at Rs. 14,999 and is available in only one colour variant, namely, White. The device will be available exclusively via Amazon India. The company also announced that their flagship Coolpad Cool S1 will also be soon coming to India.
