During this Diwali, Xiaomi is giving away its most selling smartphone, Redmi Note 5 Pro for just Rs. 749. While the base variant of the smartphone sells for Rs. 12,999, the 6GB RAM variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. Flipkart's Big Diwali Sale can help you to get your hands-on the Redmi Note 5 Pro for way less.

As a part of Flipkart Big Diwali Sale, the e-commerce giant is offering 10 per cent cash back to users who checkout using an SBI credit card. Further, PhonePe and Axis Bank Buzz credit card users can get an instant discount of Rs. 400 on their purchase. Customers can also pay a sum of Rs. 99 and assure a 50 per cent buyback value when they exchange their Redmi Note 5 Pro on Flipkart later.

As you might have noticed that the above-given discounts are not bringing the price down to Rs. 749, there is something else you need to do as well. Yes, you will need to exchange an older smartphone in order to the get a hefty discount. With the Redmi Note 5 Pro, Flipkart is offering an exchange value of up to Rs. 12,250 off. However, to reach that price point you will need to exchange something like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Also, do keep in mind that the exchange program only works if you have a phone that is in working condition and it is not screen damaged.

As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. Redmi Note 5 Pro comes in three two variants, one with 4GB of RAM and the other one with 6GB of RAM. Both the variants come with 64GB of onboard storage. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
