Hike Messenger acquires CREO mobiles along with all the employees

Creo, a Bangalore based start-up has now been acquired by Hike Messenger. The company announced this on Friday. It is also retaining all the workforce.

Creo, a Bangalore based start-up has now been acquired by Hike Messenger. The company announced this on Friday.

According to the Hike spokesperson, “The Creo team will begin work on a developer platform to enable 3rd party developers to build services on the Hike platform”.

Creo is a Bangalore based startup, initiated by  Sai Sai Srinivas Kiran G and Shubham Malhotra. The company was started in December 2013, by the ex-associates of the hike, Sai and Shubham. The company has previously launched hardware products that include streaming media dongle and smartphones.

Hike Messenger is the first messaging app developed in India. The social technology company was launched in December 2012 and currently has a user base of roughly 100 million users. At present, the company has around 300 employees and has two offices, one in Delhi and the other in Bangalore.
