Intex, an India based company has launched a new budget smartphone in the country. The Intex Indie 5 is an entry-level smartphone that supports 4G VoLTE and comes with a massive 4,000mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 4,999 and will be available via both online and offline stores across the country.
Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Intex Indie 5 packs in the MediaTek MT6737 SoC which is a quad-core CPU. The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The dual-SIM handset comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 4,000mAh battery providing the juice.
On the optics front, the Intex Indie 5 sports an 8-megapixel camera at the back with a LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with a selfie flash.
