Lenovo Z5 launched in China: Price, Specifications and Alternatives

Lenovo has finally launched the much-anticipated Lenovo Z5. The smartphone gained a lot of hype recently when the company's Vice President Chang Cheng shared a sketch of an upcoming smartphone with no notch. The company also claimed the smartphone will have a whopping 4TB of storage. None of these came into the reality with the all-new Z5.

The Lenovo Z5 is currently available only in China at a price of CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 13,600) for the 64GB variant. The 128GB variant of the smartphone retails for CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,900).

Specifications

In terms of specifications, the Lenovo Z5 features a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2246x1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. The device packs in 6GB of RAM coupled with 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage. Under the hood, there is a 3,300mAh battery powering up the internals.

On the optics front, the Lenovo Z5 sports a 16-megapixel dual-camera setup at the back which also comes with some AI features. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
